Expertise

DALI CONTROL is a division of Monitor Software which was established in 1987. It is a privately owned Australian company that has developed a wealth of software and engineering expertise. Our ability to deliver quality solutions is built upon the combined skills of our specialist team.

Our programmers provide more than just advanced programming knowledge, as they include qualified engineers that bring analytical and problem solving expertise to our projects. Our experience with electrical and electronics systems, communications and project management make us perfectly placed to complete projects that acquire, store, manipulate, manage, distribute and present data.

Technologies

DALI CONTROL develops controllers and software for the building management and process control applications using industry standard technologies and the latest development languages for Microsoft Windows 32-bit operating systems and the Internet.

Our controller/gateways are designed with Ethernet networking capabilities making them ideal for use on local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN) and the Internet. They also support building networks using Digital Addressable Lighting Interface (DALI) and RS485 systems.

Our software applications are designed using the Microsoft Windows Distributed Network Applications (DNA) architecture and .NET framework to provide a robust, scalable framework that can be easily expanded. The .NET framework is the application development model for the Windows platform. It specifies how to develop distributed applications using the Windows platform and how to extend data across networks and the Internet maximising the reach of an application.

Our applications use a tiered model comprising distinct user interface, business logic and data access components that are built using the latest object-oriented techniques. This structure ensures a highly flexible and maintainable solution. DALI CONTROL applications provide a seamless flow of information from field equipment to management systems.
